It’s Book Sale Friday – 4th November
In order to try and promote a slightly more eco-friendly ethos, this year we are going to experiment with Book Sale Friday replacing one of our Cakey Fridays each term. The premise is much the same – we will ask everyone in the school to donate a preloved book or two (please make sure they are in good used condition with no pages missing).
We will collect the books in the days leading up to the event and then on Friday 4th November, we will be hosting our first second-hand book sale.
If the weather is kind to us this will be in the Cakey Friday Shelter (hopefully soon to be known as the cakey/book Friday shelter!!). If it is damp/wet we will confirm details nearer the time for location.
Books will be on sale for 50p or £1 and the children get to bring home a fab new story to enjoy with you.
We will accept cash or card payments on the day but please be mindful that we currently only have one card machine so cash is much preferred!!
